Of course with a wide selection of ticketing software companies comes a diverse range of services and features at many different price-points. According to Capterra reviews, most of these ticketing systems work well for performing arts organizations; however, there are a few key features missing from some of these systems.

TheatreTics, Wicket Ticketing System, and Automated Kiosk Ticketing do not offer a reserved seating feature.
Wicket Ticketing System and Admit One do not offer fundraising management.
Last but not least, more than half of these softwares do not offer season ticket capabilities: TicketOps, Yapsody, Wicket Ticketing System, Admit One, PatronManager CRM, and aTicket do not offer this feature.

At the end of the day, each performing arts organization’s needs are slightly different. Make sure that you begin you ticketing system search process by carefully evaluating which features are high priorities on your organization’s “need” list and which are simply a “want.”

Of course, we think that you should also consider our own ticketing system, TicketPeak. Call us biased, but we truly believe that our system holds its own against our competitors and offers feature-rich cloud-based software at a very reasonable and cost-effective price-point.
